Preparation, and provisioning: Prior to your arrival at Brewerton Boatyard: Stop at any of the outstanding local markets, and get enough food, snacks and drinks for 2- 3 days. Too much may lead to storage difficulties. There are plenty of locations to "restock" on the canal, and its part of the fun to shop in these great local markets. Ice is available at the Brewerton Boatyard.

Arrival: Meet Saturday, at 2pm, at Cruise USA, Brewerton Boatyard, Brewerton, NY

Orientation: Your Cruise USA rep. will introduce you to your Nomad Trawler, and allow you to get your gear stowed. Then you will get an overview of all the operating systems aboard. We'll take the Nomad out on the canal, and help you become familiar with how she handles. We'll review normal vessel operations, docking, locking, line handling and the use of emergency equipment while underway. She's easy to operate, you'll feel right at home in no time.

Departure: About 4:30pm, after your orientation, you'll drop off your Cruise USA rep. and you're on your way.

Cruise plans: Make up your own, or start out with one of our proven plans, it's up to you and your mate.

Return the vessel: No later than 10 am the following Saturday, or as arranged, to the Brewerton Boatyard fuel and pump-out dock. Your gear should be packed, and ready to be moved ashore. The vessel return checklist should be complete, and the vessel ready for inventory by your Cruise - USA rep.

East to Brewerton and SR 11 (toward the big water tower)
North on SR 11, LEFT just before crossing Erie canal bridge,

Then straight ahead, under railroad overpass, and you're at "BBY"
